August 12, 2003

A Male Victim was shot and killed by his 54-year-old girlfriend in her home.  The perpetrator then called her ex-fiancé to help clean up the murder scene and dispose of the body.  The man helped hide the body in a chest freezer in his garage.

One month later, the perpetrator purchased an ice chipper to cut up the body.  That same day, the ex-fiancé called police to report the murder.

The perpetrator had been acquitted of murder charges in 1988 in the death of her then-boyfriend.
