Carlita's murder left her 2 Children without their Mother in their lives

Carlita was allegedly shot and murdered at the Brockton home of her former boyfriend Amaral Montrond, the father of her two children.

Montrond was arraigned on murder and firearm charges and held without bail.

Carlita had moved to South Carolina and was back visiting with family and friends. At the time of the murder, Montrond was out on bail in the shooting of two people. According to prosecutors, Carlita had turned Montrond into police in connection with those events.
