Alice's murder has left behind her young adult Son without her in his life
Alice was shot to death by her former husband, Jeffrey S. Gill, 50, who then killed himself.
Alice was killed while in the driveway of her home and in the presence of her adult son, who had tried to help her. She tried to flee the attack, but Jeffrey Gill chased her and shot her several times before taking his own life.
He also threw a pipe bomb into her vehicle, which detonated during the shooting.
