August 19, 1999

Juathenia was stabbed to death by her ex-boyfriend, Wade G. Brewton. He was indicted on one count of murder.

Juathenia had been living with Brewton prior to her death, but had moved out because the couple often fought, according to neighbors. Neighbors chased and held Brewton, after he attacked Juathenia, until police arrived.
