The bodies of Theresa and her husband, William Reagle, 60, were found by motel employees after the two failed to check out. Theresa was apparently shot in the head by her husband, who then took his own life.

A handgun was found in the room, and a letter, also found, said the couple decided to end their lives because of family problems, although authorities did not provide details of the letter.

The couple were from Sioux Falls, South Dakota and had checked into the motel a few hours before the shootings
