August 8, 2001

A Male Victim was stabbed to death while trying to protect his girlfriend from her ex-boyfriend.

The girlfriend told police that the perpetrator entered the garage and held a knife to her throat, after she raised the electric garage door to go to work.  She stated that she pushed the car door into him and fled into the basement apartment.  The victim attempted to intervene and was stabbed in the chest, back and arms by the perpetrator.
