Ignacia's murder has left her 18mo old daughter and family behind to continue on without her in their lives

Police say that Ignacia was found dead of stab wounds. Her boyfriend, Carlos Juaquin Torres Jr., 19, was in the apartment with her body.

Torres stabbed Ignacia to death in the presence of their 18mo old daughter.  He then called an ambulance and had them take him to the ER to have his hand stitched up, leaving her behind dead at 2am.  Her body was not found until after 8:30am after he had told his other girlfriend and told her Ignacia had stabbed herself to death, and who then called Torre’s mother who called 911.

He was arrested in October.  He was given 19yrs in Dec. 2012 for her murder.
