A Female Victim and mother of two was hit by a car and pinned against a brick wall in Whitehall. The car was driven by her 47-year-old estranged husband.

According to witnesses, the perpetrator chased his wife by car, jumped a curb and pinned her to the brick wall of an apartment building. She was still pinned when police arrived and pronounced her dead at the scene.

The victim had filed for divorce two months earlier. She obtained a Protection From Abuse order against the perpetrator in August 2002. It was initially granted for nine months and in March 2003 it was extended for another 18 months.
