Alma's body was found near a carport by family members.

Almas' husband, Jesus Quinonez-Valazquez, 41 was arrested the next day and held without bond on suspicion of stabbing her to death.

The two had been married, but reports indicate they were separated at the time of the murder.

Quinonez-Valazquez was in jail in connection with the August 17th stabbing death of his wife, Alma Ramos.

Quinonez-Valazquez committed suicide in his cell and left a note.
