Vivian Hall UT 09-26-2009

Vivian Hall, 65

UT, Fairview

Attack:  September 5, 2009

Died:  September 26, 2009

A witness reported seeing Ronald Leroy Hall, 72, hit his wife Vivian several times on her left eye.

The next morning Vivian was unable to rise out of bed and was taken to Sanpete Valley Hospital where she was treated for several hours. She was then transported to Intermountain Health Care Center (IHC) in Murray, Utah and remained hospitalized there for three weeks until her death on September 26, 2009.

Her body was taken to the Utah State Medical Examiner’s office where an autopsy officially determined the cause of death was “complications from a head injury.”

On October 30, 2009, Hall was arrested and charged for murder, obstruction of justice and prescription fraud. Hall has a criminal record of violence dating back to 1956, which includes twenty arrests and eleven convictions.
