Nettie and Luis were shot to death allegedly by Edwin Valentin, 60.

While reports remain unclear as to whether there was a romantic relationship between Becht and Valentin, some reports suggest that Valentin was obsessed and jealous of any relationships Becht had with other men.

Valentin was charged with two counts of murder and was held without bail.
