Rosalind Ross, 30

WI, Milwaukee, Milwaukee Co.

September 15, 2010

Rosalind was shot and killed while the couple was sitting in her car in a restaurant parking lot. Family members reported that they had been concerned for Rosalind and described Malika Willoughby as “overly possessive.”

The couple had been arguing more in the week prior to the homicide, and Rosalind Ross’s mother believed that her daughter was ending the relationship at the time of the homicide.

Update:

On August 25, 2011, Malika Willoughby, 27, entered a guilty plea to an amended charge of first-degree homicide with a dangerous weapon in the shooting death of her girlfriend. Sentencing is scheduled for November 18.
