Joanne's murder has left her 2 Children to grow up without their Mother in their lives
Joanne was murdered by strangulation in her home. Her estranged husband, Eric Johnson, 33, drove her car to Gill, MA, and committed suicide; his body was pulled from the Connecticut River in Erving on Sunday morning.
The couple had separated over a year ago in what has been reported as a contentious divorce. Their two children, a son age 8 and daughter age 2, had gone to the home of their maternal grandmother the night before.
