A 42-year-old man admitted to police he had strangled his girlfriend during a fight.

They began dating early January and the Female Victim had begun telling her friends ―she was a little bit afraid of her boyfriend.

In August 2010, the perpetrator’s then-wife accused him of abuse and sought a protective order against him.
