Robin was shot and murdered by her estranged boyfriend, James Thompson, 43; who then shot himself, committing suicide.

Chino Valley Police responded to a domestic violence with shots fired call that became this murder/suicide.

Witnesses said the couple was estranged and family members tried to stop Robin from returning home.

A neighbor, who was one of the first people on the scene, said, “It was terrible. Things like this don’t happen here.”
