Hyang was bludgeoned to death then set on fire by her boyfriend, Steven Michael Sparks, Jr., 33.

Steven was arrested in the death of Hyang whose burned body was found in the north Peoria desert.

Steven and Hyang had a personal relationship before she was killed.
