Providing the HOPE to survive today, tomorrow and beyond

Alijah Townes PA 07-21-2007

Alijah Townes, 4 mo.

PA

July 21, 2007

Alijah was murdered by his father, Aaron Michael, while he was on visitation with him.

At the time of Alijah's death, it was stated that Alijah was found unresponsive in the back seat in his car seat while on a trip with his father. His father then went to the closest emergency room with Alijah, and consequently left him there.

The medical examiner ruled the manner of death in both cases to be undetermined. He suspected Alijah may have died from meningitis and Patrick from choking on candy. But Townes still had her doubts.

"For one my son was healthy, two he went to the doctor 3 days prior to his death."

At the doctor's Alijah received a clean bill of health.

Before Aaron Michael was shot by police officers after killing his then ex-girlfriend, Andrea Arrington, Michael confessed to two friends over the phone that he had murdered his two sons' years prior.

Lamar Patrick, 4 yrs old, had possibly died of choking on french fries, although none were found in his system, then possibly a Jolly Rancher.
