Lisa died of asphyxiation due to neck compression and was found with a weight bar on her throat.

Lisa's husband, Scott Pattison, who stated he's innocent and that it was an accidental injury was found guilty of Lisa's murder by a grand jury and was sentenced to 60 years in prison.

Financial motivation was identified in the crime.
