Nicole's murder has left her 4yr old Son to grow up without his Mother in his life after surviving the murder attempt

Nicole died of gunshots in an apparent domestic murder-suicide by her boyfriend, Daunte Roberts, 36.

Nicole's 4-yr old son was also shot in the head and was found by police when they entered the apartment, but survived the injury.

The boy was alone in the house, critically injured and with the bodies for an extended period of time.
