Josselyn was stabbed and killed. A grand jury charged her former boyfriend, Damone Tillman-Williams with first-degree murder.

Josselyn had ended her relationship with Damone.

According to court documents, Damone picked Josselyn up in a car on July 8th. He pulled the car over to the side of the road near a cornfield and stabbed her once in the stomach. As she tried to flee, he chased her down and continued to stab her in the stomach.

Damone said that the last time he saw Josselyn she was lying in the grass bleeding. Less than two hours later, construction workers found Josselyn. Police and paramedics tried to revive her, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
