The FV’s murder has left behind a 7yr old son who must now grow up without his Mother in his life

A Female Victim was found strangled on a couch in her home. Her 7year-old son, who was present when she was killed, told police she would not wake up when he tried to say goodbye as he was leaving for school in the morning.

Police were called when she failed to pick him up from school. Police arrested her husband, the boy’s stepfather, at a Detroit bus station after finding 14 threatening messages from him on her phone.

He was convicted of third-degree murder and sentenced to 20 to 40 years in prison.
