Jessica and her Mother, Rebecca, were allegedly stabbed to death by Jessica's ex-boyfriend, Jeremy Blanchard, whom she had filed a restraining order against.

He also stabbed to death David, who was hosting the Bergs who were in town for Rebecca's mother's funeral.
