RoRo was strangled to death by her boyfriend, Jeremy Alexander Leavy-Carter, 20, who pled guilty to second-degree intentional homicide (reduced from first-degree).

Charges of strangulation and suffocation were dismissed but read in to the plea. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for September 10, 2010.

Others in the apartment complex reported that they often heard sounds of fighting coming from their apartment and that RoRo was trying to break off their relationship, but that he would not let her go.
