"We Remember" is such an important part of Le Chrysalis. Yes, we are geared towards helping Survivors Strive and Thrive and learning how to spread their wings again and fly, but we cannot forget those that didn't make it through.
So many of us that have Survived know that we are gifted in not being on this list, so many of us came close to being on this list, and we honor those that didn't make it as we have, and honor those families that have lost someone to Domestic Violence.
We want "We Remember" to not only be a list of names of those that were murdered, but a place to actually remember them. Remember who they were, remember the families that were taken together, remember that they were so much more then just a name on a list. They are brothers and sisters that we have lost, that we Survivors will never get to meet, but hopefully in some way we will get to know them and honor them here.
We will be linking up the names to information about those that were taken from us whenever we find information on them to share. We will be taking information from the internet and hopefully from family members that submit this information.
We will also be linking up information through a separate project when we find that the murderer has not been caught in order to help apprehend them.
This is going to be an ongoing project, unfortunately one that will never end since there will always be abusers, but one that we feel passionate about doing and maintaining.

Please know that our main goal with this is to honor your loved ones that have been taken away from you. Our prayers and our sympathies go out to you that have lost loved ones to Domestic Violence.

If you don't have a site up, please send us information and we'll be more then happy to make a page. Information such as pictures, their favorite color, what their dreams were, their favorite foods, anything and everything you would like to share and to be remembered!
