The murder of this Female Victim has left behind three young children and a young cousin to grow up without their Mother and Aunt in their lives after having lived through the murder of their Mother and Aunt and attempted murder of their own young lives.
A Female Victim was stabbed in front of her three children by her 30-year-old ex-boyfriend during an argument in her North Philadelphia home.
When the perpetrator began attacking the woman with a knife, her 11-year-old daughter tried to stop him and was stabbed in the abdomen. As the perpetrator began dousing the house in kerosene, the children, along with their young cousin who was spending the night, grabbed their 1year-old brother and ran out of the house. They dragged their bleeding sister down the stairs and onto the sidewalk, then ran to a neighbor’s house for help. The young girl survived the attack.
The perpetrator died when he set himself and the house on fire.
