A Female Victim was
fatally shot by her 45-year-old estranged husband in a cornfield outside
Sunbury. He then attempted suicide.
Allegedly, the
victim refused to give the perpetrator a second chance at a relationship.
According to
authorities, the perpetrator wrote a note before committing the homicide that
stated his wife would soon be dead.
The perpetrator
pleaded guilty to first degree murder and was sentenced to the death penalty.
