Ericka's murder has left behind her 8yr old Son to grow up without his Mother
Police report Ericka was stabbed to death by her common-law husband, Alexander Medrano Jr., 32.
Medrano told a 9-1-1 operator the couple had argued after he had accused her of being unfaithful. Medrano said he stabbed Ericka because he loved her. Medrano was treated for self inflicted wounds.
The couple had lived together for nine years and has an eight-year-old son.
